at is also important that you dont take off from a place that has rebar in it or high metal content nearby ,
a little trick i use to help set mag north is a small compass and i set the landing mat with the n pointing towards the compass north,and place the drone facing the same direction,
then after the drone has locked on to the GPS, then look at the radar like display and make sure the drone icon is facing towards the small N on the outer edge of the circle, also unlock the compass on the map display and that should match the other one as well ,that way you know that the drone is facing mag north before you take off
