Mavic Air IMU overheats during calibration (Error 13)

Hi everybody,

I am receiving the IMU calibration error 13 and I am stuck on step 1. It never crashed just wasn’t flown over the winter.
I already tried the following:
  • put an ice pack on it during calibration
  • Put it in the freezer an then started the calibration
  • Gave it a few taps on the back
  • Factory reset
  • Reinstalled the app
  • Removed the imu, gave it a few taps and installed it again
Do you have any ideas how to fix this issue?

I also searched for a replacement IMU but only found ones for the air 2 or air 2s. Are those compatible with the air 1?
 
Direct the output of an external fan over it and see if that helps. I would also suggest seeing if you can feel or detect with a candle flame etc. any draught coming from the drone's fan, i.e. could its vent/s be blocked?

Seems obvious, but have you tried just normally calibrating the IMU? Without ice or anything on it.
 
yes, every time I try to calibrate normally, I am stuck on step 1 and after a few minutes I receive the error 13 ( IMU Overheated )

I’m having the same problem, stuck on step 1, tried everything.. you find any solutions?
