Mavic Body Skins

Do many of you put body skins on your MP? I had them on my P2 and P3P but thinking about leaving the MP as is. Dont want to cover the name on the arms.

I'd say quite a few of us have skins on our birds.

Also I've seen that some people cut holes in skins to show off the name, so you can have both, name and skin.

I don't care too much about skins and how it looks.
I'm most likely going to upgrade when the next version of the mavic comes out.

I put the orange carbon fiber skins on as I will fly the mavic in forested or mountainous areas. I need to be able to find it easily if it ever goes down. I'm thinking about putting some of the reflective tape on as well.

I went with an OD green....it has the same tone and sheen as the stock grey. So I'd probably go with a brighter color if I did it again. But then again I like the how it sort of disappears in the air. Maybe white would be more stealthy...

I'll give my own thoughts shortly, I'm still learning her in and out. Before my maiden flight. But from the videos I saw and how light the boots are there seems to be no change of CG or performance degradation from adding them.

I love the color on yours. I'd put that on but if it ever went down in the forest I'd never find it again. Some people put contact info and reward if found.

They change the appearance and can be removed. Relatively inexpensive and can help protect the Mavic Pro from scuffs and scrapes. Here is my first attempt at applying skins purchased on eBay for $12 each. I'll let you know how well they adhere after a few flights.

I put a hexagonal camo on mine. My question is :
Does it diminish my range ? My drone has been acting funny...

Ive got digital Navy camo on mine with the eyes and shark mouth. Haven't noticed any impact on performance. I bought 1/4 inch black vinyl letters and numbers to put the FAA reg number along the back leg and to number the batteries.

When you peel the skins off, is there any residue left behind? I guess it depends on the quality of the skins, eh?
