Mavic cable question (need one with tip long enough for IPhone with a case)

Hello. I’m new here. . I’m looking for a cable with a tip long enough to use with my iPhone case on to use my mavic? It’s Otterbox that I use and IPhone 11 big

I just use a short charging cable plugged In to the bottom USB port.

Check some of my older posts. I put a link to an excellent straight through kevlar cable that I connect my Air 2 and iphone 11 Pro, fitted into a Lifeproof rugged case. The supplied DJI cable has a 90 degree bend which will not fit into the outer case. The new cable still rolls up for storing inside the RC, too. The cost was about $NZ20; PB Tech. I think you can order from overseas.????

Can you not make the hole in your case bigger to enable your cable to connect properly, cheers Len

I have found that many cables won't fit into the iPhone with a case because the hole is too small. It's not the lightning connector itself but the plastic around it near the tip.

You could try to make the hole in the case bigger as already suggested. Since cables are cheaper, maybe trim down the plastic near the lightning connector.

When I encounter this problem I just pull off the case while using the phone with the controller. In my setup, the iPhone 8+ with a case is just a hair too big for the bracket on the controller. I ended up using an older iPhone 6 without a case. That solved everything for me. And if I need internet on the 6 I just turn on the hotspot feature on my 8+.
