Call it what you like, it is against the DJI TOS. DJI does not want anyone doing it. Here is a quote from DJI...It isn't hacking, it's using debug tools that DJI left in their software for us to use as we see fit
"To“jailbreak” a drone via software hacking is a violation of DJI terms of use (because it compromises safety features)"
