Mavic gimbal and camera

Hi I crashed my mavic and when checked the gimbal was not working but the camera and drone where.
I have replaced the gimbal with one from China and now the camera and gimbal don't function.
Any ideas on how to check what's causing the issue?
When mavic fired up the gimbal does not do a self check. Drone flies ok.
If camera is now not working could the multi thread cable have been damaged during removal.
Tried sending it to repair specialist in the UK but they wanted to replace everything at very high cost when the drone flies fine.
Any help appreciated.

So which part did you change was it the silver Arms without the covers or the whole gimbal with camera and mount?

Are you sure you've connected all of the cables fully?

It's possible that you have damaged the silver multi Strand cable that connects the camera to the PCB if you fitted it to a new gimbal motor assembly when routing or putting on cover closest to were the gimbal screws to the mount

What have you done with the old part?

Hi I used the gimbal without covers and used the old covers. I thought I might of damaged the multi strand cable when removing the camera although the gimbal did nt work before I removed the camera. Should I order a new cable and try that first?
I still have the old gimbal.
When you switch the drone on you can see the camera aperture adjusting but no image on screen

It said gimbal disconnected in the app

What i have learned so far it might be faulty gimbal pcb board.
Due to non moving gimbal, that disconnected message and not video feed.
Not yet really sure does this message is correct: "The gimbal main board is integrated to the gimbal and the gyroscope has been calibrated before shipment. The gimbal board cannot be removed
individually; otherwise,the gyroscope cannot be calibrated"

I have no error messages on the app now. Tried reconnecting all the cables again but still no power to the gimbal or image from the camera. The camera and video icon keep toggling back and forth and switching itself on and off
