There is no way it is going to hover within inches using Barometric pressure changes. It would need to use Ultrasonic measurements.

Right. I'm referring to the issue we've been talking about up above where the Mavic is floating up and down by several feet. You came late to the conversation.

Below 30 feet the drone uses the ultrasonic to maintain height. It's very accurate. However there could be surfaces that cause it issues per the manual.
