Mavic Maintenance

What do you do to maintain your mavic I'm asking because maybe there's something I should be doing. I fly for the love of flying and exploring so to do 10,000 metres a battery is not unusual 3 batteries will usually be 30/40 km is this asking to much of the mz2 or am I concerned for nothing in 3 months she has done 500 km and no problems. Thanks

There are no physical maintenance procedures that are required. You can inspect/change the props periodically as you see fit and look for structural issues such as cracks in body plastic or battery retention tabs, inspect the batteries for swelling or cell voltage deviations, check motors after flight for excessive heat, etc. but there is nothing that is made to be user-serviceable on DJI consumer drones.

Motors will usually start making some strange metallic sounds before failure.. if you spin them gently by hand you can feel extra resistance.. then send it in for new motors or try yourself.. happened to my phantom3

Thanks for your reply you now have me wondering what sort of information is recorded in flight data that may help with maintenance.

I noticed a change in sound with my mp1 and a change of props was the cure thanks for the input.

Great information being a separate thing the maintenance of batteries is very important I was disappointed with the removal of days to discharge with the m2p/z it's also a shame there's nothing on the remote battery Thanks again.

The remote controller battery pretty much cares for itself. Store your remote controller at room temperature and charge it when the battery gets low.
