As the only sensors are under the MM for landing it is highly unlikely they they saved you.

Actually when comparing what I see in the camera versus direct VLOS observation, to me objects are further away than they appear.

But yeah, that did seem to within a foot of the tree branches.

If you notice the Mavic Mini gain altitude when was passing the tree branches, that's why I am wondering if the sensor did something.
