Before you fly your drone, in this case the Mavic Mini2, learn how to find and rescue it. Click on the three dots on the top right of your screen and select Safety, scroll down till you see Find My Drone. Select beep and flash. Follow the arrow and line exactly and you should see the line getting smaller till there is very little distance then you should see flashing and beeping.
Goto 1 min 20 sec for the crash or just wait for the fun

That was nice of the bush to hold it out of the water.
One other 'trick', for when you can find the drone's location but not see the drone, if you have live video feed get something into the shot then move that something back to the camera.
I tree'd my mini and knew, within feet, where it was but I could not see the beep beep.
Via the video feed I was able to see the ground and recognise the patch of ground shown so I put the end of a brush shaft in shot and moved it towards the camera. It took me straight to the drone about 2ft above my head hiding in the fork of a branch

the wrong handling of drone pilots is the side flight. first step we fly to the height of the largest tree we have checked before the flight. low flights only straight or back. never sides. ?

wow lucky man and lucky mini! Fortunately it didn´t chrash in to the river! ?
