Mavic mini pls help

Hello, i have spent 11 months trying to connect a mavic mini.
I have a samsung s10+.
I have purchased this fone specifically to fly drone as my other fones/ tablet are only 32 gb
I have tried so hard but i just cannot connect the controller/fone to the drone.
I will admit that at 72 i am not the the youngest but i am used to camera/ video tech etc. Pretty sure i have tried everything 100 times over. Could someone please point me towards any tutorials that cover every step. Thank you.

Does the FLY app actually run on the S10+ ? You do not need the phone connected to the controller to try that.

When the phone is connected to the controller, does the phone indicate that it being charged by the controller ?

Can you post a photo of the cable that you are using to connect the controller to the phone ?
