Mavic Mini RC not recognusing extension cable ?

Hey there,

I've purchased a micro usb to usb-c cable so that I can use my Oneplus5t in my tablet holder.

When I connect the cable to the controller and then to the mobile phone theres nothing popping up on my Oneplus5t

Does anybody know how to fix this ?

Total newbie here, but I can’t stand crickets so I’ll venture a guess: I’ve bought generic cables online, for both iOS and Android devices, and have experienced faulty cables. My only recourse was to purchase cables from someone else, or in the case of Apple, buy actual Apple cables.

Okay, a moderator politely suggested I read the Mini’s manual, and I read this about cable connections:

”If a USB connection prompt appears when using an Android mobile device, select the option to charge only. Otherwise, it may result in connection failure.” — Mavic Mini User Manual v1.0, Page 7 (Mavic Mini - Specs, FAQs, Videos, Tutorials, Manuals - DJI)

But since you mentioned no prompt appears, I’m wondering if a different cable will work.
