In case you don't know, these can be printed on 'vinyl sticker paper' for inkjet or lazer. Some careful work with an exacto knife is needed after that. It can be made more waterproof with a couple coats of acrylic gloss or matte...

I went with vinyl decals on the already dove grey base colour as I was looking for an F-18 inspired look. Took about 30 mins with my vinyl cutter from start to finish.
