I've owned my MM for a little while now and I'm pretty satisfied with it. I have however been looking at the Mavic Air 2 and I'm wondering just how big an upgrade it is from the MM. Is it really worth twice the money? What's your opinion?

The Mavic Air 2 is a marked upgrade on the one..(which I really like) so I would say it probably is worth double the price..Don't have a Mini
Depends on what you want from your drone- only you can justify if it's worth the extra!

Got the Mini (therefore biased) Question though, clearly the Air2 has a far better camera (and follow options) do you need these ? do you edit in 4K ? Do you have a 4K TV ? (Yes, I know, we all would love one day). It's a lot of money (unless you are a pro) I like the mini for it's portability (as apposed for transportability) Horses for courses. Your money, your choice.

To be fair, it's a very open ended question. To use that old "car analogy". "I own a Mini, and am thinking of buying a Ford Escort". It's that sort of question (showing my age here folks)
It might help if jigsaw said how he uses his Mini ? Is he getting the best from it ? or is he missing some features ?

I like my Mini so much I decided to get the MA2. The camera upgrade wasn’t important to me. The OcuSync 2.0, higher wind capabilities and operating temperature -10° to 40°C (14° to 104°F) were selling points.
How good is it in water ? I understand you have rather a lot in Michigan at the moment ? (Only joking)
Do you still have the Mini? If so, what situation would you chose to fly it over the MA2?
I'm not really looking to buy a MA2, just mildly interested.
Like I stated above, I'm satisfied with the Mini, but that doesn't stop me from looking at other drones.
Luckily, that problem is a long way from me.

That's the big question..If you don't need 4K one of the two is going to sit on the shelf...but if you're like me...once that idea gets in your head...look out...you are probably going to end up with another drone. You might try telling yourself..there is going to be something even better coming up down the line...doesn't work for me but it might for you.

I have Mavic Mini and for me the most desired pros from Air 2 is OcuSync.

My MA2 is still in the sealed box... The weather hasn’t been very good. Hopeful for this holiday weekend!!
The wind around my area is a concern. see photo I’m hoping I’ll be able to fly more often.I’m fairly certain that the Mini will be for sale at some point soon.

I live about 100 mile north of the flooding. The local tourism bureau boasts that if you live in northern Michigan you are never more than 5 miles from a body of water. Looks like our downstate residents can claim this too!
