Wonder how the average age of Mavic pilots stacks up against Phantom pilots. I'm guessing the Mavic crowd would be a bit younger.

I dunno, those 70+ guys and all us 50+ guys, if the Phantom pilots are older they got to have some pushing their 90's! LOL

I started with a throwaway just to see what all the quadcopter fuss was about. Made a HUGE error for me and got a P3S. It is for sale now on eBay and on the Phantom Pilots classified. Great drone if you are a Phantom Phan. None of the Phantoms have a remote even remotely as good as the Mavic. Flip switches and not having a clue as to what is what on that white on white controller is no good for an old dog learning new tricks. The real kicker for me is my full time travel and the eventual size of my case to carry all the Phantom stuff. The Mavic stows entirely in the small shoulder bag with four batteries and everything else needed to fly. The landing pad is my choice but that small soft circle you can throw about anywhere. Anyone that is looking at a P3S could score a nice deal on a COMPLETE package.
