Mavic "Pro" 2?

Important
1) Better camera (bigger sensor, smaller and variable Aperture, Better Focus!!!)
2) 360 VAS (above also) - today situation makes intelligent flights meaningless in many occasions even dangerous
Wishful thinking
3) possibility to change battery and SD card while folded ;)
4) Auto gimbal lock/unlock ;)
5) Longer battery life/flight

Dear DJI,

Please hire this man as your Head of Product.

This is all I would want too.

Forgot something Important :
6) External power (USB?) - data transfers, setting up, learning menus and options take time and require Drone to be powered - and battery is melting away - external power will solve this problem and if charging the battery the better ;)

I don't expect an optical zoom on a Mavic + or 2 soon. It would hurt the pro drone sales too much. Unless some vendor announces something similar to a Mavic with a zoom, but honestly the Mavic doesn't have a competitor as it is right now. I'm pretty sure DJI has a couple of tricks up their sleeve to quickly respond and completely overrule any competitors action.

Am I missing something...or am I the only one that has a MP with 2x optical zoom? It's not the best, but it's definitely there.

A rescue dispositive inside mavic, that returns beep signal when an external impulse from rc are launch(ir or Bluetooth short range technology)from short range and when magic's battery is expired. This is useful when mavic lost communication with GPS and rc and land on the last GPS position transmitted.I had lost my mavic and I found it in the last GPS position transmitted, but in a wild forest,10 day after landing and without the certainly to find it in the exact position.with battery expired, this short range dispositive would have been useful.
Sorry for my English.

Something they could do now...quieter props. I read very fine sandpaper on leading edges to remove any texture, profile etc helps, but easy to unbalance these little props, but it is probably the most annoying and attraction seeking aspect of all drones.

The Zenmuse Z3 has a 3.5 optical zoom. I think that was DJI's first zoom offering. They haven't incorporated an optical zoom into the phantom series yet so I'd be surprised to see it on the next Mavic.
I just used one of the Z3 cameras (Osmo +). Very noisy for the price, almost unacceptably so. The Mavic Pro camera is also noisy... but more tolerable somehow. (and fine for a $1000 drone)

USB 3.1 at least. When transferring off my Nikon D500 I'm getting 200MB/s of my fast SD card. Makes emptying a 128GB card quick.

360 degree collision avoidance - fab -- now it will stop mid air no matter which side the sun is on. Sounds fun. :D

I disabled OA right after The first time I couldn't fly home because of the sunset.
Personally I don't want to see a new Mavic. Not for a wile at least.

USB fast charge compatability. I know it wouldn't be fast, but 3 hour charging would be fine with me for light travelling. USB connection direct into the battery so charging does not require the Mavic to be present.

I also hope they make it easier to get the massive files off the drone. Taking an SD card out is so last decade! Either offer USB-C port or wifi upload.

And can't say this often enough: we need the ability to take photos while taking videos, without interrupting the video taking. This is a *huge* issue for me, as the best photo opportunities typically come in the middle of a video, and it's sad to make the video skip at exactly that place.

I'd say just record 4K video and just snip an image within you video media and convert it to a picture. I do it all the time.

There is a 2X's zoom on the Mavic Pro. Not great, but better than nothing.

Tony
Don't confuse a digital zoom with a real physical lens to lens zoom. The zoom on Mavic is just cropping the image and cheating you out of pixels and clarity. You can do the same thing in post by simply cropping the image.
So the answer is NO, Mavic does not have a zoom.

4k 60fps to allow better fast caputure. I'd love 8k 60fps and 4k 120fps. But that's just a dream. DJI wouldn't move that fast or they'd struggle to produce something new next model.

Has there ever been a zoom function on a dji drone??? That would be great. All around sensing, short range radar, maybe built in prop guards and leg extensions. Also more camera features or add a dual camera feature?
In 2.7 or less, the Mavic has a 2x digital zoom, video and photos

Don't be rich.
So I don't want to have to buy a new Mavic this year or next year.
Period.
On mine, I just want a selectable ATTI mode. Should be easily implemented via a firmware update.

longer flight time, better battery life, I've heard some people have issues with the hovering and how it drifts. Mine does that too even if i recalibrate everything on an even level and all of that jazz. Just bug fixes and stuff like that. Better camera, 360 protction cameras, zoom in and out, better autofocus, a bunch of stuff honestly.
