I hear what you're saying I thought it would explode too so I tried a smaller battery 1st it got hot but did not explode the big battery did not get hot at all.But this was the 1st time I charge the battery to capacity cause I just got it in the mail I'm going to test it some more to see if it gets hot or explodes after several recharges. But for now it's working on my mavic and it's not overheating one more thing when I tested the smaller battery it was 95ﾟ outside so from the Sun beating on it it got really hot today when I tested the big battery it was only 70ﾟ outside so if the outside air temperature makes a difference I will have to see

Like I said, the larger pack had a 3s2p configuration so the current per cell is cut in half. The larger cell will run cooler than the smaller one.

Regarding cell stability, 18650 cells do not explode; however if you run them too hot, the cells get damaged and won't hold charge. I see that on my ebike pack.

Well there's at least 2-3 other people aside from DJ that will be testing that battery. I will delayed since I don't have an XT60 connector in hand and the seller said it'll take 10 days to get here (give or take a few days)

What i don't get is:
For my e-cig i use 3000mAh 18650's. They have a 20A continuous discharge..would packing 3 of these in series reduce the discharge rate?

These are 18650GA which are high capacity but have lower discharge rate. Those cells you use are likely 18650PF which have less capacity but much high discharge rate.

Depending on the tests, I may purchase 6 of these or similar and attempt a home build. Based on the cost of these cells, Titan's offering isn't too costly for the battery alone but the shipping cost is killing it for the UK at the moment.

You gave some great initial info for the use of these packs. The 52 min endurance flight set fire to the range maniacs..the mavic got more fun now.
