Mavic Pro Battery Mod

I still got my doubts about getting anywhere near 50 minutes run time. We could never,I could never be that lucky!
If this would be true i will have to open the mavic again and boost the mavic side too. I will settle for 35-40 mins.
I would have gladly bought one and sent it to you. May have been cheaper on your part that way.
If these do the trick i might take the offer, thanks.

What i don't get is:
For my e-cig i use 3000mAh 18650's. They have a 20A continuous discharge..would packing 3 of these in series reduce the discharge rate?

I don't think it would reduce the discharge rate. I'm not sure to be honest with you. I know it would increase the voltage.

If you put 3 20amp cells in series you'll have 20 amps to play with. That's what I'm getting out of it.
Surely. But how many amps can you draw...what would become the c-rating if 1 cell can take 20c...?! I never assembled my own batteries so dunno really.

They will always be the same C rating. You can't change the C rating.

EDIT: But you will be able to pull more amps because of the added cells. But that doesn't mean they will perform well.

Example for simplicity sake. Say you have a 1ah 10C cell. That's 10A max. Make a 3 cell (parallel) battery and you can pull 30A.

Not to get things mixed up:
3× 3000mAh/3.7v in series makes 3000mAh/11.1v
3x 3000mAh/3.7v in parallel makes 9000mAh/3.7v
The latter does not serve our purpose.
With pulling amps i mean discharge rate.

So why does the manufacturer of these Titan batteries not opt for higher discharge cells?
Theoretically with the before mentioned 20c 18650's you could buils 3s2p units capable of 20c? Or is this too simple?

Like I said before, it will be a surprise to me if they don't get so **** hot you can't touch them. 18650 cells do not like heat!

Hey we don't want none of your 18650 batteries here. Take off. We only LIHv or LIPo.

Go tot he vaping forum.

Funny how one hover test at 52 minutes is selling Titan batteries off the shelf!

Good times!
