Mavic Pro Calibration?

Is it necessary to Calibrate my new Mavic Pro right out of the box thru "DJI Assistant 2" after I do all the updates?

I had to do it to get any good out of the vision sensors, kept getting errors until I did the full calibration through dji assistant. Everything else was fine. Never hurts to calibrate everything fresh

Nice. I see some people calibrate compass before every flight. I took notice even if you fire up the MP near metal, you’ll get a compass error but just move away before taking flight, and it’ll go back to normal status.
