Hello all.. I had what I consider a minor crash.. everything seems to be working just fine however when the mavic is level the arm of the gimbal sits lop sided. I carefully inspected the gimbal and do not notice and damage. I have imcluded several pics..

I am scouring through a bunch of videos and forums to see if this is an easy fix. Any guidance?

Can you extend the arms, sit the Mavic right side up on the table, and take a front shot of the gimbal?

Your gimbal plate might be bent.

Looks like your gimbal plate is bent where the 2 screws hold it on to the gimbal motor assembly. You can try to bend it back down, but it might snap off.

thanks.. I am no where confident enough to attempt this. Luckily (and I just discovered this) there is a DJI shop near me in Chesapeake VA. This was only my third flight (fun fun fun).

Just dont let them tell you that you need a whole new gimbal.

Thunderdrones I want to thank you again for the help. You were 100% right about it being the gimbal plate. I took my mavic to a local DJI shop and they were able to get it fixed all within a day. They only charged me for 1 hour labor. I have attached a photo of the broken plate which was bent as you suspected. Again cheers to you for your help.
