Did you look under the battery for a possible FAA number? I put mine on the outside, but it seems a lot of folks like to put it in the battery compartment...
Finally.
I lost contact with mine on Saturday here in São Paulo, Brazil.
(nice of you. hope you find the owner)

Good on you for your honesty!
Karma, what you put out will come back to you in unexpected ways!
Privacy concerns I am sure has alot to do with that.
, for sure, as for dealing with the FAA I am sure it would be easier to get DJI to email the owner that his Mavic was found, after all, they have his serial on file linked to his/her account.
And that is where a good old sicker with contact info (maybe under the battery) would be a great help, or at least it cannot hurt.Well, that, and unless if flew from Buffalo to Toronto, chances are it doesn't have (or require) and FAA registration number.
