I’ve done it so many tunes now, that I can do it reasonably easy but the issue is I’ve bought these ribbons off eBay and although they are cheap, most don’t work. I assume that these rubbings have probably failed QC at the factories that they are made and just end up on eBay. I doubt that a factory would setup just to make these poorly working ribbons. But I’ve learnt my lesson; apart from providing plenty of practice, the eBay ribbons are just no good.
