MAVIC PRO ND FILTER PGYTECH ISSUE

Hi , was wondering can you tilt the camera with ND filters ON ?

It says in the instrucions not to tilt while using it.

Anyone help ?

Yes, you can use the gimbal/camera normally with the filters on.

What they are trying to say in their weird Mandarin-to-English translation is, put the filter on straight and evenly, and make sure it's pushed down all the way onto the camera lens. Don't try to put it on at an angle. It's not that difficult. I usually push mine all the way down and then give them a few twists to make sure they're on snug and seated all the way.
 
Tks Tray I have no issue putting it on, was just wondering if you could tilt cam with it ON.

Poor translation to en-grish for sure. The Mavic Pro's Camera and Gimbal will not pass pre-flight initialization if the PGYTech filters are tilted at an angle when installed. It causes the weight of the filter to be unbalanced and not located in a rearward direction. This will cause the initialization process to error and not complete. PGY Tech had a bunch of issues early on with this and so they created those directions to resolve the issue.
