New Mavic Pro owner here, long time quad pilot though...
I have noticed something regarding the range / video quality on the Mavic pro, maybe someone can confirm.
The slower the quad flies (horizontal speed), the better the signal quality. Anyone else observe this?
I have yet to take it out some really long distances, but at 1750M I noticed the following:
P Mode + Obstacle detection = Crystal clear video signal, zero "skipped" frames.
P Mode - Obstacle detection = Starts to get a bit iffy. Nothing major, but lost frames every few seconds.
Sport Mode = Any time a sharp move is made there is visible degradation in video signal.
Anyone agree / notice the same?
I wonder if this is due to the angle of the craft, interference caused by the additional load on the ESCs or a power delivery related (more RPM on the props)? Maybe a combination of the above?
