Mavic Problems

Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I've been on here but was looking for some help. I haven't flown my drone in a couple months and I got it out yesterday for the first time since. When I powered it up the gimbal started bouncing around like crazy and also overheating. Before shutting it down I went ahead and took it up in the air and when I tried the return to home it wanted to drop the drone straight down where it was at approximately 200 yards out at which time I had to cancel it and bring it home myself. Has anyone had these problems after their aircraft has sat for awhile and if so was it a lack of doing 2 months worth of firmware updates?? Sorry for the long post and thank you in advance.

I'd try checking your IMU calibrations along with your compass cals.

The only time I had an issue similar to yours was on .0700. .0400 doesn't seem to have that issue.
