Maybe I'm just searching with the wrong terms but I can't find how others are "sharing" the display other than using AirPlay when using iOS.

Here's my scenario: I need to be able to share my display with another viewing device in addition to my iPad. Since the Mavic does not allow for an HDMI out how are others accomplishing this?

I have Phantoms and Inspires with HDMI out and they work great for this task but now I've been asked to do the same using the Mavic because of the reduced noise, increased range, and longer duration . I don't need to be able to do this long distances as my "viewing audience" will be less than 10' away so wired isn't a problem and I already have HDMI cables that connect to my Aux monitor. I just need to get the display signal onto my auxiliary monitor so that others can view it without literally standing over my shoulder.

Ideas? Suggestions? Links to how others are accomplishing this?

Thanks in advance :)
Allen

The only way I have been able to do it is using a ChromeCast or Fire Stick and then casting my screen that I am using to fly the Mavic with, to the monitor/TV that has the ChromeCast plugged into it. There is a little bit of lag, but it isn't that bad and your viewing audience won't know that it is lagging unless they can see your screen and theirs at the same time.

I know there are a whole lot of other ways to do it that I have seen in posts, but this one was simple for me and relatively in expensive since I already had the ChromeCast.

Or use a moile device that has an HDMI output like DJI's crystalsky.
I don't even have to use chromecast. I can use my Galaxy S7 phone and screen share onto my Windows 10 laptop. No extra hardware required. Or you can project from almost any Samsung device to a Samsung smart TV.

If you're using Apple products as your display device on your Tx you can "stream" to a Windows/Mac laptop/PC using AirPlay Receiver on Windows and OSX

The caveat there is you'll need a WiFi connection for your iOS device and your aux device to connect to. Then launch Lonely Screen and you can stream to it. I may just take my laptop in the field and do it this way.

I build and sell remote viewing stations that all utilize Apple TV and a wireless wifi router.

I wish Dji would sell their receiver they use at shows to display in multiple devices. Mavic is ideally suited to multiple devices streaming the video.

Also, streaming to YouTube or Facebook works well if there is suitable internet connectivity.

You can also use rtmp streaming that is built in to the software.

Ahhh this is my a HAH moment! Why didn't I think of adding a dedicated WiFi router to my command station? Hmmmm back to the drawing board LOL.
