Quick update (maybe someone would find it useful) - I contacted DJI support and after a long correspondace that really pissed me off, I managed to get this graph from them. It appears that dron received an UP command from SDK (Litchi) and I have no idea how can that happen in VR mode. No response from Litchi yet.View attachment 23141
I just had an accident using a Mavic in Litchi vr mode - my drone went completely unsane: it started spining uncontrolably and then started ascending really fast until it hit some tree branches. How can I found out who's fault is it...and does it evem matter?
Drone itself doesn't look damaged from thr outside, but gimbal mottor doesn't seem to work correctly and I get some errors. Any advice what to do? Thanks in advance
almost sounds like a motor or prop went wrong. And the spinning is part of how the mavic tried to stabilise and land. This is a function of many Dji drones. The logs will tell you more.U had the drone set to immersive mode hence the signal came from SDK in Lichi. If u tilted your head up it would literally fly up at a rate of knots. If you til your head left it would move left and so on. It would be the only explanation. I've been flying Lichi since I've had my drone and never had any issues. Used the VR mode as well but turned immersive mode off as I didn't want to get into head tracking.... I prefer flying with the sticks
Yeah, this is a strange one. I was going to guess that the Mavic got caught in an updraft. The altitude gain occurred before the erratic flight. It was flying along very close to the ground and then started rising with no throttle at first. It then continued to rise with full negative throttle.

At time 291.624 the AC declared a ctrl failure, from the eventLog stream.

This was after it rolled left uncommanded

The only thing I can think of is that it was caught in an updraft that then got stronger on the right side.
Following this is when the motors started trying to compensate causing the erratic flight.
