They’re M4-0.7 screws/threads, I’m just going to put a manfrotto QR plate on with one of them I have around.

Nifty for using with thick gloves too
Looks like you figured it out. Nice work.View attachment 61555View attachment 61557View attachment 61558View attachment 61559View attachment 61560
I managed to angle the left leg by inserting an angled rubber spacer between the screws and with using 2 longer screws could keep it in its original position with the led still facing forward. The thickest part of the spacer at the back makes the leg move forward. Tried it today and signal does seem better. Sorry if photos are blury.
It adds no functional value. You can actually remove it and you would never notice. Thanks beanbubba. What’s your opinion of the right leg leave it standard or angle it the same![]()
Correct. Thanks beanbubba port and starboard understood. So from the port side main board to the amp. Then from the amp to the antenna. Same principle as the remote amp mod then.
Carefully check your amp's input voltage range. No worries for the M1, but the higher voltage on the M2 may fry some amp's.Correct.
Awesome! cant wait to see the result of this! This has been taunting me for months and I finally gave in and got one. It's huge and heavy, but it claims 22 dBm RX gain (that is sorely needed on the M2) and I must test this soon and report results

Dual band first?
I must say it is a pain to hard set 2.4 on every single flight (just remembering to do it). The dual band sunhans makes it stress free, but it is middle of the pack in performance. I have now taped a yellow sticker on my RC stating "SET 2.4 RADIO"Dual band first?
Yeah I wish there was a feature to have the radio settings persistant. In my area, 5.8 always works better. At 10km out if it switches to 2.4 the signal can be lost and the M2 seems to have trouble reconnecting.I must say it is a pain to hard set 2.4 on every single flight (just remembering to do it).
