I have a camera cover with two prongs that Akins between a circular part and the main camera housing back to keep camera stable when not in use. Recently that little round part got bent by that and eventually broke off. I have flown it since and it seems to do fine, but it has a goldish coating on the side that was facing the camera body so I’m wondering if it had a purpose? See pictures. Thanks for any insight!

Not sure if it's absolutely needed, but it does protect the cable. If you are willing to send me your address in a private message, I'll send you one for free. I have a couple laying around somewhere. Only problem is I am out of town until Oct 3rd and will send it when I return. I can also send you a screw driver if you don't have one.
@ericole ,i would take up RadioFlyerMans offer ,that cover protects the camera feed cable ,as well as keeping the ribbon cable that controls the gimbal motors in place ,if you unscrew the part still attached then you could possibly glue the two parts back together as a temporary fix till you get the one from @RadioFlyerMan, be very gentle as you remove it ,as those cables are very fine and are easily damaged
