Check these guys out- they have a contract with the PD in my home town to do first response flights for situation awareness. I think they will be using the tallest building in town as their takeoff point, and they have a BLOS waiver. Will be interesting to see what success they have. They ran a wanted add posting on Indeed for a local pilot to fly for them, I wouldn’t do it but someone must’ve took them up on it.

Albuquerque needs 50 drones? Inside one of the poorest states in the country and they spend all their taxpayer money on this? Is crime really that bad?

So is the new normal to not disclose how many drones are in use or where they are located? Is this a "secret" drone program; is everything about these drones non-public including the video?

Starting to sound like it which is the first step.....

FYI I am not against using drones for law-enforcement; I'm against using drones for law-enforcement without clear rules and boundaries set by the state and by the People; not by the police.
