Discovered in 1998, the "Brickell Point Site" was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Circle at Brickell Point is a National Historic Landmark (2009) and an archaeological site of the Florida Tequesta Indians, dating over 2,000 years old by carbon dating of wood found in the site. It is located at the mouth of the Miami River in downtown Miami, Florida. The site was discovered during excavation for a high rise building and a great deal of interest in preserving the site resulted in the city and the state purchasing the site from the developers. The film is 4:33 minutes, featuring time lapse and drone photography and video. The Miami River is an active commercial and recreational river. The bridge connects Brickell Avenue to Downtown. Brickell Avenue is famous for both international banking and luxury high rise apartments and condominiums fronting Biscayne Bay.
