Whenever you put a microSD card into the remote controller or the
goggles, you have not only the video footage (although lower resolution) but also you capture the data from the drone flight such as the altitude, speed, distance from home, etc. With a large microSD card (I use a 1.5TB) you are able to keep the recording running at all times and collect it over the weeks and months; so it's there when you need it to refer back to just in case. Whatever you see on the screen or thru the
goggles will be recorded to the card including the overlays. With
goggles you can program this to start automatically on every flight.
