micro usb

I have the magnetic connectors on my Mavic Air, Mavic Pro and both Mavic 2 Pro's. They work great and do not seem to interfere with anything.

Never had a problem with plugging in correctly but I DO think the magnetic adaptor is cool, but in another thread on MavicPilots I discovered there are actually reversible USB cables that eliminate the need for these things and the problem, I ordered this set from Amazon and they work flawlessly. Three cables for under $10 is hard to beat and I LOVE them for ALL of my things that go USB in the night... AND, they are reversible at both ends

The reversible cables are a good idea ... I just like the mag' tip connectors because I can use one cable and plug in my controller, my bluetooth headset and my phone - each of which have different style tips left in them permanantly.

My only problem with all These wonderful cables is they disappear very easily on other devices in my house. I think I probably have 20 of them already.

Fortunately, my cats don't seem to mess with my cables and my GF only uses a lightning cable to charge her iDevices when she's around (which I also use), so I don't have TOO much trouble with cables disappearing... but they ARE a bit mysterious when it comes to vanishing... kind of lock socks... I have lots and LOTS of missing socks.

Yeah, I agree completely, that's why I just ordered that set of three with mag connectors on them

Thanks for all the advice folks. I did a "shakedown" flight today with a new aircraft battery and the magnetic plug in the charger with my phone connected to the bottom data port. Worked great, and the magnetic charging works seamlessly.

I was about to order a set of the magnetic connector version and then I read the reviews. MOST are quite positive, but there are a number of "nightmare stories" where the connector broke off and couldn't be removed. I decided I'll just stick with the reversible ends cables. Just seems to make more sense to me... that's just my 50¢

I by a product labelled as 'NetDot 3rd Generation' - so it's possible that earlier (gen 1 / gen 2) models of the magnetic tipped cables were not as robust - However, it would be almost impossible to break a tip of these Gen.3 cables ... They are robust and well put together.
