Does anyone have/use similar hardware for viewing/editing?

My 2011 macbook is not even able to play Mavic 4k, so I need a new portable computer.
As far as desktop goes, I do have powerhorse. But I.m looking for good travel pc with pen and great display and ability to play DJI 4k

What do you think?

Full specs:
Processor
Intel Core i5-7300U 2.6 GHz
Graphics adapter
Intel HD Graphics 620
Memory
8192 MB

I use the surface pro4 i7 with 16gb and it handles Mavic footage just fine, I've done quite a few edits on it and it works great. Not sure how that would compare to the newer i5.

I've got the i5, edit video with Filmora and have both Lightroom and Photoshop on it for when I'm not at home. I've never had any issues with it.

I have the i5 2016 model and it does fine. When I used DaVinci Resolve it was worse but since I've switched to Adobe Premier Pro it works better. The 8GB of RAM is probably one of the limiters but it works. I will still use my i7 16GB laptop if I'm at home as it is faster but I love my Surface Pro!!

Sweet, so playback and editing is running fine right?
It's not as fast as my desktop at home, but it works reasonably well. Like I mentioned before, I use Lightroom and Photoshop on it for stills and Filmora for video. This Pro 4 is my 3rd Surface, haven't carried a laptop for several years now.

I' have a surface pro 4 i5 with 4GB of ram and am able to edit gopro footage just fine with gopro studio. I haven't yet tried editting mavic footage just yet though so not sure how that'll work out. I usually use my i7 desktop for Mavic stuff.
