Mini 2 firmware update dilemma

Upgraded, no performance difference noticed and used many these 2 last weeks.
Better if I compare 1 year ago.

I too with a Mini 2, am loth to update beyond 1.004 but was told that if, as an Android user with a Samsung Galaxy as I am, I can actually return to an earlier update if needed, is this true?

New 01.06.0000 firmware available for the Mini 2. Same dilemma... Anybody "tried" this update ?

Still running aircraft 1.03.0000 and RC 04.11.0032 here. I only get the message that there is a new firmware (in the meantime 1.06) for the mini2, not the RC. Still doubting what to do...update the mini2 or not........ same delimma.

Mini 2 AC firmware V01.06.0200 and Controller firmware v04.11.0200 all good using Fly 1.9.0 on Android.
I started using Fly 1.9.0 for the new map caching capability and had a very scary disconnect during new years eve midnight flight to film fireworks. Drone returned home but I had to manually land in dark with controller only without Fly app.
Updating both Mini 2 and controller firmware solved the disconnect problem, I have done 5 flights so far without issues.
Upgraded to Fly 1.9.1 today, have not tested it yet.
