Mini 3 repair

Hi All.
I am in the UK and had the mis fortune to clip a branch at the weekend with my mini 3. one of the arms is cracked near the motor and the gimbal isnt operating.
what is the best repair process? Ive heard horror stories as the units need to be shipped to holland for dji repair and large bills ensuing with customs etc. Has anyone else used this service or are there any other options less costly?
eg third party repair?
