Mini 5 Pro officially launched outside the US.

The weight and speed are similar to the Mini 4 Pro, so the behavior in the wind will be similar.

Are you in the UK? There aren't any differences on where you can fly based on weight in the US.

No but I fly a lot in Europe and was just looking at maps in Switzerland where the only restricted areas I was seeing for the places I was interested in all say 250 gram drones can fly but anything heavier needs permission, which could take 10 days to process in many places.

One of the reviews I saw said it has a bit better wind resistance (12 m/s vs 10 m/s for the mini 4). Seems like a decent improvement.

Have mine in hand, will test fly this afternoon

The much bigger bag is nice

It really is not a huge upgrade. It is apparently a bit on the chunky side. It is so close to 249gr that it comes with both the C1 and C0 stickers, since if you put a sticker on it, it is overweight. It can be overweight out of the box as its specs stated that the weight is 249.9 +- 4g, hmmm. If you use the standard equation of .7 x whatever DJI says, let's see 36 x .7=25.2 minutes, not much flight time. Then there is the won't see an SDK for at least 18 months. Kind of disappointed. I was disappointed in Apple's release as well. Seems tech is hitting plateaus. At least the iPhone 17 is thinner, more expensive, less battery life with more emojis and a couple of new ringtones. Sound similar? Well the iPhone is lighter at least.

Makes one wonder, since the weight can be over 249 out of the box, if it will broadcast remote ID out of the box in the USA.

Somebody please disassemble the camera, I want to know which sensor the Mini 5 Pro is equipped with
Hopefully, it’s the Sony LYT900 xD

It comes with CE Mark stickers?

Because DJI had been etching the CE mark on the body, not slapping a label there or including a label in the box.

Not mine. CE is still etched to body
What is interesting though is that there is a leaflet from EASA explaining rules. Normally we would have CASA leaflets here in Australia

My Mini 4 Pro came with C0 stickers fitted and a set of C1 stickers to install if required. I’ll be checking what the M5P comes with.

The side button on the drone that many reviewers are saying they dint know what its for, is for entering Quick Transfer Mode for grabbing picsimage.jpg
