Mini storage with legs open

yes it can it makes no difference there is no reason to fold the legs other than making it more compact for carrying ,there are custom cases that can be purchased that hold the MM with the legs extended

When stored in this way, improper storage of the propellers could be avoided

Nope. It's perfectly fine to store it with the legs open (or folded).

I think I am going to start doing this unless the aircraft is actually being transported for a flight.

For now, I also keep it unfolded and ready to fly. Due to the lockdown, i am stuck in a cottage outside the capital and I fly whenever I find a chance.

Going back to normality, I consider leaving it out from the case and place it there only for transport.
