I DID NOT.Did you fly it with a Mini 5 Pro Plus battery before using the Mini 5 Pro Regular battery?
If, so, see post #17 above.

Why would I make this up? I'm not posting the serial number on a public forum but I'd be happy to share what my drone scanner APP finds every time I fire her up through a private channel. LMKOk, were you the one who posted a few days ago saying your standard battery equipped M5P is broadcasting standard RID but refused to provide any more proof? I forget if that was you or someone else....lost track of it.
Who's asking for the serial number? Hopefully you don't think that has anything to do with RID. This is why we are asking, often the details are confusing. What is the model number or the sku number for your M5P battery? Sorry if this has been asked and provided previously, I may have missed it. Do you have part 107? Don't think you are "making it up" it's just that when something goes contrary to what DJI is declaring, it's helpful to put *all* the relevant facts out there if we can; like the sw version for your drone and controller please.....eh, not the serial number. Why would I make this up? OK.I DID NOT.
As it should, because the 249 grams marked on the Mini 4 Pro regular battery refers to the takeoff weight when installed in the Mini 4 Pro, not the M5P, because the only battery which is light enough to come close to 249g in the heavier M5P aircraft, without any battery inserted, is the regular M5P battery. Here's some information to add to the hopper. I have only plus batteries for the Mini 5 Pro, no standard batteries, so I couldn't directly check the results @GadgetGuy found.
But, I tried a Mini 4 Pro standard battery (with 249 gram marking) in the Mini 5 Pro. The drone broadcast RID, as shown by the Drone Scanner app. I tried multiple takeoffs, a power down and restart cycle on the drone, and two cycles of powering down both the controller and the drone and restarting. In all cases, the drone broadcast RID after takeoff.
