Missing map display

The map does not display on my flight record playback? I tried all 3 styles, standard, satellite and hybrid. The flight path shows but there is no map to indicate where the flight took place. The long. and lat. is displayed and my Go4 app does display a map when I am actually flying. [Mavic 2 Zoom]

The app doesn't have mapping for the whole world and has to download it before it can be displayed.
Does your device have internet connection to be able to download the mapping to display?

Thanks Meta4. OK, I got my Ipad wifi turned on and connected to my router for an internet connection and now the maps display. Is there any way to "download" the maps to the app or device so I don't need a constant internet connection?

It won't download enough maps to be useful. Limited storage. Live map downloads are the primary reason for connection to the internet during flight, unless you only intend to fly within a small VLOS range.

Thanks for the replys. I'm almost always viewing flight records at home anyway but just thought I would ask if there was an option. Thanks again for the assistance.
