Hi all,
Brand new mini 2 but I cannot connect it to iPhone 12 Pro. I have tried 3 different cables with no luck. When tried with an iPhone XS with latest software 14.5 and older iPad and iPhone 6, all is perfect. MM2 is updated with the latest firmware and fly app is version 1.4.
please help as this drives me nuts….
P.S when connecting with the iPhone 12 Pro, it charges normally but the fly app is not getting to the camera
Thanks
Kostas

HI, ksoup

As you uninstall/reinstall & tried with some other originals cables, surely it's the cable pin on the RC who's got a problem.

thank u for the reply,
I would agree, but I have tried with other mobile devices and the remote, app and aircraft worked perfectly.
I pinpoint the problem to the iPhone 12 pro but given the fact that the device is 1 month old, i cannot believe that lighting port is not working and hoping that there is a setting or something with software i can do to fix it.

Have the port tested at an Apple Store Genius Bar.

I know less than squat about ios but is it possible that you didn't give some permission to the app as you were installing or that there's a security setting on the phone itself? With Android, depending on OS version or manufacturer, you have either 1 pop-up for all permissions or 1 pop-up for each and missing just one could cause you problems. And now that we can't get updates or new installs from Google Play we have to make sure to allow apps from third parties in the security settings

Thank you all for the replies.
After troubleshooting with Apple tech, we pinpoint the issue to the phone, next step is delivering the device to service.
grrrrr
