Yesterday I filled up the SD card in my MPP and got a note about it on Litchi. Disappointed but I'd already gotten any important footage needed. Then got a scare this morning when my Mac Pro said it was unreadable. Tried other Mac's and adapters with same result. Fortunately when I plugged the MPP in directly it was able to read it, but very very slow (and then had to stop in the middle to change batteries on the MPP). This is the card that came w/ the MPP new and this is the first problem so I assume DJI are not closing the file system catalog properly?

There seem to be numerous threads of similar problems though without the card filling bit.

What then is a good strategy?

- Best cards to use?
- Format on Mac or MPP?
- Best file system? I assume FAT32 or exFAT, would exFAT be more reliable?

Mavic Supported File Systems:
FAT32 ( ≤ 32 GB ); exFAT ( > 32 GB )

exFAT is best for SD cards over 32 GB.

In my experience, reliability depends more on the SD card rather than the drone. This assumes that the drone is functioning properly. As far as the best cards to use, there are many posts on this forum covering that subject quite well. A simple search should answer your question. (See below)
