Having my Air 2s only a week and never flown one before I’ve been playing around with the Mastershots video facility, realised that is probably not a good idea when in a pretty Cotswold village in the UK with lots of trees around because it hasn’t any side sensors, it crashed into one at about 20 meters but luckily landed in a bush only damaging the propellers. Has anyone any advice when using Mastershots? Also I’m having problems tracking on my IPhone 12pro from a distance, do you have to be really close to the subject initially to do this?

Welcome to the forum from the deserts of Arizona! Enjoy.
Glad you had no serious damage from the crash.
Someone will be along soon with some analysis.

Welcome. Glad you had minimal damage. I bought, a month ago, a mini 2 and crashed almost immediately. I think it went into Atti mode as it was very hard to control. Very minor scuff.

I’ve not tried Mastershots yet. I’m London based so pretty limiteds to what I can do, much prefer to manually take the controls though to minimise any collisions.

Enjoy your flying

Welcome to the forum from Chicago the Windy City.
Same here, I prefer to manually take the controls to avoid collisions.
Check out the search function, type in crash or flyaway, see what comes up.

Like everything else in drone flying... do it carefully. Master shots aren't available on my "S less" Air 2, but you have to be real careful with automatic operations, or even manual operations.

Learn to avoid stuff, and sometimes you oops anyhow.
