My Mavic Pro Got A Makeover...

Goose is feeling pretty studly now!!
Took about 2 hrs to put it all on, but DecalGirl really does an excellent job! It was all cut perfectly!

That looks great! Nice job applying it. I plan on putting skins on my new Mavic 2 zoom to make it easier to see and to set it apart. Fortunately I have a very artistic and patient wife to help me as I'm afraid mine would not come out nice like yours if I had to do it by myself.

That's good! I like it. I'm in favor of any skin that helps any raptor realize that the drone isn't some other bird. It might not always prevent an attack, but it can certainly NEVER hurt. Mine is fluorescent green with green metallic Prismatic tape on the upper surfaces. Gives it a lot of reflectivity and sparkle on a sunny day when viewed from above.

Thank you! Oh yes VLOS is so much better now with this skin and it sets my drone a little apart from the rest.
It actually wasn’t that difficult. DecalGirl really does a great job, all of the cutouts were very precise!

Not really sure if I buy the Bird repellent Theory! My poor little mavic was all done up and a red tail hawk came along snatched it out of the sky. Hit it's so hard it knocked the battery clear off of it along with landing gear extension and I was able to recover that but I never did find the Mavic again.

Also fairly recently I had a falcon chasing down my new mavic2 pro with Angry Bird face on it. He made several attempts before getting discouraged.

That's unlucky, mine is bright hi-vis orange and the bird's seem to stay away from it, we have a lot of Red Kites and Buzzards around here.

Did you ever post in this forum about your missing drone? I'm guessing it was a while back?

Don't suppose you have any footage of that bird attack?
