My six year old takes a photo

Well, we got the drone in on Thursday, flew it through three batteries on Saturday.

What an amazing little flier, I really enjoyed it, it certainly lives up to all the hype.

On the second battery, I got it up to about 30 feet, put it into Tripod mode and let my daughter take over. She flew it around very well, then wanted to take a picture. I had to help get the gimbal aimed downward correctly, she was struggling with that but otherwise she did it all. I was proud of her. Here it is, the first picture from my new Mavic!

Hah, that made me laugh. She isnt quite up to the 107 cert yet, but then again neither is her dad

I'm up in Alaska, this is taken out in a area called Eagle River.

I'm trying to get the drone figured out and get video processing down over the next couple months, before summer hits and the really gorgeous stuff comes out.
