I see several posts regarding this error on my 3-year-old Mini 2. It seems the general fix is to replace the GPS module. Most of the posts are pretty old, so I thought I would ask again and see if there is any new information regarding this error. I don't want to order the module until I'm sure.

The funny thing is that the error does not show up for the first flight of the morning. But once I shut the drone down, I'm not able to fly it again because the error "Navigational Error System" reappears. I have always been able to take off and fly from my backyard. So nothing has changed there. I removed the module and reconnected the cable. So I know how to do that. I have no problem replacing the GPS module. They are not very expensive. But I would like to be reasonably sure it will fix this error.

Does anyone have any new information on this situation? The display says it is seeing 24 satellites, give or take a couple. I will also mention that I have never crashed the drone.

It could be a firmware issue or problems in the area you are flying. usually 30008 means the gps is gone or maybe a connection.

Thanks. I am pretty sure the connection is okay because, as I said, I removed the GPS board once and reinstalled it. Also, the error is intermittent. I am flying from the same spot in my backyard I have flown from for several years. Firmware is a possibility. I did do a FW update just before this began to happen. But if it is a FW problem, what can I do about it?

I see you are in Bakersfield. I'm in California City near Mojave. We are about 60 miles apart. Do you have a repaired shot? I go to Bakersfield often.

I am just a hobbyist I like to build and work on Drones Hit me up and we can go flying sometime!! I dont remember what that connector is but you could try connecting it firmly and then putting some electronics silicone on that it sounds as if the connector is vibrating loose. P.S. I will help you if needed just give me a PM

If I purchased a new board, would you be interested in putting it in for me for a fee? I know I could do it because I just did it. But I had a Hell of a time reconnecting the cable. I finally had my grandson do it for me. I just couldn't do it. I am 80 years old now. The eyes are what they used to be.

Sure I would do it! send me a PM and it can sure be arranged!
P.S. No fee
