Shooting through any kind of plastic, especially curved plastic is going to yield poor results. If you are serious enough to get filters, get the ones that fit on the lens. Then if you need the lens for some reason you can use your filter and lens cover together.

Are you looking to protect your gimbal or for a filter to improve your footage?
