Is there a drone shadow remover algorithm on board?
Something strange I found today on my videos from my Mavic Air ... At the beginning of the video you can see the shadow in the lower left quarter, he moves towards the vines and becomes a bright spot when it flys over it. No backlight, the light comes from behind. Other reflection? Rather...forum.dji.com
Looks like not much to stop it, apart for m flying with the sun to a rear angle.
Maybe one suggestion of trying a C-PL filter ?
Clear explanation, thank you.A ND filter does nothing else than letting in less light to the sensor ... forcing you or the auto exposure to adjust the shutter to a slower value in order to maintain a proper exposure, a slower shutter will do nothing to prevent the retro-reflection called Heiligenschein.
A Pol filter will most probably not help either ... this as the retro-reflection isn't a shattered reflection with arrays of light coming from different angels.
The Heiligenschein effect is light arrays that goes straight into small water droplets (either in the air or on the vegetation) & are reflected straight back into the same direction they came.
