Footage from today when I was scouting a new location. A real near miss situation.

This is typical avoidance behavior for a bird. This is why you should climb instead of dropping when faced with an approaching bird, as 95% of the time, birds will go lower in altitude to avoid a collision than climbing higher. Same goes for manned aircraft to avoid a bird strike, BTW.
