Need help on buying extended warranty

Hello,new to the forum and new to flying....I need help on where to buy an extended warranty for my MA 2, If I was given the option at time of purchase I must have missed it. Do I buy it through DJI or the online seller that I purchased the drone from?

DJI offers care refresh which allows up to two replacements caused by incidental damage, including pilot error. It doesn't extend the warranty.
If you then get Refresh Plus, then you get one additional replacement on the second year, and that extends the warranty to two years for most components, even some components that are only warrantied for 6 months.

I doubt any third party extended warranty would cover accidental damage.

We're you really meaning damage/loss insurance? Many have opted with State Farm personal property insurance.

It is possible to get the DJI care refresh but you'll have to contact DJI on how to do the video confirmation process so they can see the aircraft is in good working order. Here's some information from DJI.

The trouble with DJI refresh is you have to send them the drone, if you can’t recover it refresh is useless.
I opted for independent insurance, loss, damage & theft covered.

I read about a lot of people having State Farm. I'm wondering about deductible. Maybe someone will check in with their personal experience.

Direct from my State Farm agent...

If the drone weighs 55 pounds or more it is ineligible.
If the drone is used in business it is ineligible.

If you would like to pursue writing a policy I will need the following:

Copies of actual purchase documents for the drone.
Brand and Model of the drone and its related components.
A list of the related items on drone with details and values. Example: Camera
Current Homeowner insurance company
Any claims in the last 3 years?

The minimum premium for the policy is $45.00 a year.
